8904 Avondale Rd., Parkville MD Real Estate Photography Session

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing a Victorian home that’s more than 100 years old. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,652 square feet, this house is rich with character—from the wraparound porch to the exposed wooden beams.

Before you step inside, the porch invites you to linger—it's the perfect spot for an evening chat with a friend or simply watching the world go by. The entry is cozy, with a staircase featuring a dark wooden banister. The entryway corner by the stairs offers space for a chair or a coat rack.

The living room does not disappoint. A brick fireplace anchors the room in the bright and inviting nook area. It is a warm and inviting space and the perfect spot to cosy up with a good book. The wood-beam ceiling adds a touch of nostalgia, and the space feels open and airy.

The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances and country-style cabinetry, accented by a brick backsplash. Although compact, it offers plenty of storage and an island that gives the home chef ample prep space.

Just off the kitchen, the dining room evokes European vibes. Exposed wooden beams, shiplap walls, and a rich hardwood floor create a lovely setting for family dinners.

Upstairs, the guest bedroom stands out with fairy-tale eaves and a shuttered window—a space that would also work beautifully as a children's room.

There’s a lot to love about this house. Check out a selection of photographs from my session below.
