Earlier this past winter, I photographed a lovely split-level home in Severn, Maryland. The 1,404-square-foot layout holds a bright, thoughtful remodel—4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms—where high-end fixtures and luxurious touches elevate everyday living.

The living room welcomes you with a generous picture window that bathes the space in natural light. The luxury vinyl flooring adds a softness to the space. It’s a room built for first impressions, where visitors are greeted by a balance of modern lines and inviting warmth.

Upstairs, the open-concept layout makes the home feel especially airy—perfect for holiday gatherings or quiet evenings with loved ones. The kitchen sits just beyond the living room and is the standout of the house. White granite countertops pair with white cabinetry, while black and gold fixtures add a note of contrast and elegance. The island offers ample space for both meal prep and casual seating, making it a natural hub for conversation. Adjacent to the island, the dining room provides generous space for a modern table and the flow to host meals with ease.
