Last spring, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully updated split-level home in Lothian, Maryland. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2,425 square feet of living space, this home strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style, and functionality. Thoughtful upgrades and high-end finishes are found throughout, giving the home a refined yet welcoming feel from the moment you step inside.

The tour begins in the main living area upstairs, where warmth and openness immediately stand out. A cozy gas fireplace anchors the space, complemented by gleaming hardwood floors and a soft, neutral color palette that allows the natural light to shine. The entire upper level is completely open, seamlessly connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen—ideal for both everyday living and entertaining.

The kitchen is a truly exceptional. It features light wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a generous island that doubles as a breakfast bar. Sleek lighting fixtures add to the elevated design, creating a space that feels both functional and effortlessly sophisticated.
