12104 Augusta Dr., Glenn Dale, MD Real Estate Photography
Last spring, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully renovated split-level home in Glenn Dale, Maryland. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and 2,322 square feet of thoughtfully updated living space, this home blends classic charm with modern comfort in all the right ways.
From the moment you arrive, the home’s curb appeal makes an impression. The brick exterior is timeless, and the columned front porch adds a touch of whimsy while creating a welcoming, comforting atmosphere. Stepping inside, your eye is immediately drawn to the stunning chandelier in the entryway—a statement piece that sets the tone for the rest of the home. Elegant wainscoting adds a classic architectural detail, instantly making the space feel warm and inviting.
The living room continues that welcoming feel with a large picture window that fills the space with natural light and a subtle continuation of the column motif. Hardwood floors run throughout the main level, giving the rooms a soft, cohesive glow. Just beyond, the kitchen is partially open to both the living and dining areas, creating an easy, natural flow. A pass-through window makes entertaining and everyday meals feel effortless.
The kitchen truly shines as one of the home’s standout features. Crisp white cabinetry, white quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances create a clean, timeless look. With abundant storage and generous counter space—including an entire area dedicated to meal prep—it’s both beautiful and highly functional.
Beyond the kitchen, an expansive living area offers even more room to relax or entertain. The wood-paneled ceiling adds warmth and character, while another elegant chandelier elevates the space. Whether hosting guests or curling up with a good book, this room is as versatile as it is inviting.
The guest bathroom is another thoughtfully designed space, featuring a gray vanity topped with quartz, brushed steel fixtures, and a stylish marble backsplash in the shower/tub combination. It’s the perfect spot to unwind at the end of a long day.
The basement is just as impressive as the main level. With shiplap-accented walls, brand-new carpeting, and an open layout, the space offers endless possibilities—whether as a third living area, a home office, or a creative retreat.
Photographing this home was an absolute joy, thanks to its stylish details and unique character. Be sure to scroll down and explore some of my favorite images from this session below.
