Last fall, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully maintained split-level home located in Lutherville Timonium. With 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and over 1,800 square feet of inviting living space, this home truly captured my imagination. It was a joy to photograph, thanks to its warm ambiance, thoughtful layout, and eye-catching features throughout.

From the moment you step through the front door, you're welcomed into an open and airy main level that effortlessly connects the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The living room feels instantly cozy, yet spacious, with a stunning picture window that floods the space with soft, natural light. It’s the kind of light that makes a house feel like a home—perfect for both relaxing afternoons and lively gatherings.

But the true heart of this home is the kitchen. With rich cherry wood cabinetry, sleek stainless steel appliances, and polished granite countertops, it's both elegant and highly functional. A central prep island with bar seating makes the space ideal for entertaining—whether you're chatting with guests over a glass of wine or helping kids with homework while prepping dinner. Just off the kitchen, the dining area is perfectly positioned for easy serving and seamless hosting.

Head down a short flight of stairs, and you’ll find another spacious living area—an ideal family room, game space, or even a casual hangout spot. This lower level also offers direct access to the backyard via sliding glass doors, making indoor-outdoor entertaining a breeze. Tucked away on this level is a private bedroom and half bathroom, making it a perfect guest suite or even a quiet home office.

Photographing this home was a real treat, not just because of its stylish features, but because it clearly has been loved and well cared for. Its layout is intuitive, its finishes are timeless, and every room has a story waiting to be told.
